Central Pediatrics is an independent group of board certified pediatricians and staff dedicated to providing the highest level of professional health care for children, from infants to young adults. The 13-physician practice is built on the core values of listening to patients, responding to their needs and providing high-quality care when and where they need it.
Central Pediatrics has been serving patients in the Twin Cities since the first clinc opened in St. Paul in 1962. The clinic added a second location in Woodbury in 1983 and now is serving a third generation of patients.
Walk-in clinic was developed in response to scheduling challenges of busy families. Our Walk-in clinic allows you to bring your child in for acute sick visits (ex: earaches, sore throats, etc.) without an appointment Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and be seen by a board certified pediatrician. Walk-in clinic is available at our St. Paul and Woodbury offices.
Priority Pediatrics, in response to the success of the Walk-in clinic, Central Pediatrics in 2004 opened Priority Pediatrics, an afterhours pediatric urgent care clinic with extended evening and weekend hours. At Priority Pediatrics, children are seen at each visit by a board certified pediatrician who is able to handle any urgent care need that doesn't require a trip to the emergency room. Priority Pediatrics is available at our St. Paul and Woodbury offices Monday through Friday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m(St. Paul) and 10am to 8pm(Woodbury). No appointment is necessary.
