Healthy Reminders: Immunizations and Physicals.

We offer complete immunizations and physical exams from birth to 18 years of age.

Immunization Schedule
Schedule for Infants, Children and Teens

Age Immunizations Given
1 - 2 Weeks  
2 Months Pediarix, Hib, PCV 13 (Prevnar), Rotarix
4 Months Pediarix, Hib, PCV 13 (Prevnar), Rotarix
6 Months Pediarix, Hib, PCV 13 (Prevnar), Influenza*
9 Months  
12 Months PCV 13, Hep A, MMR, Varicella
15 Months DTaP, Hib
18 Months Hep A
2 Years  
3 Years  
4 Years MMR, Varicella
5 - 6 Years DTaP, IPV, MMR (if not given at age 4), Varicella (if not given at age 4)
11-13 Years Tdap, Menactra, Gardasil (females only, 3 doses needed)
16-18 Years Tdap, Menactra, Gardasil
   
Pediarix:   DTaP, Polio, and Hepatitis B
DTaP:   Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis(for children 6 yrs and under)
IPV:   Inactivated Polio Virus
Hib:   Haemophilus Influenza B (This Is Not The Flu Shot)
PCV 13:   (Prevnar) Pneumococcal Conjugate
MMR:   Measles, Mumps and Rubella
Varicella:   (Varivax) Chickenpox
Tdap:   Diptheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (for children 10 yrs and older)
Menactra:   Meningococcal (2 doses needed)
Rotarix:   Rotavirus
Gardasil:   Human Papilloma Virus (3 doses needed)
Influenza:   Influenza (Flu)
   
     

*The influenza vaccine is recommended for all children on a yearly basis beginning at 6 months of age.

After 5 years of age, check-ups are recommended at least every other year. If playing competitive sports or for any chronic conditions such as asthma or ADHD, yearly exams are recommended.

Recommended vaccinations may change over the course of time. Our staff reviews your child's immunization history at each check up to assure that he/she is up-to-date.
