Personal Biography:
Dr Gesensway has been with Central Pediatrics since 1991.
She has been active in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) since 1992. Currently, she is serving her second six year term on the Board of Directors of the Minndakota Chapter of JDRF. Dr. Gesensway and her husband, David Gesensway M.D, were the 2007 recipients of the prestigious Imagine Award for outstanding commitment to JDRF and its mission to find a cure for diabetes. She completed a 100 mile bike ride in Death Valley, California for JDRF Ride To Cure Diabetes and participates yearly in JDRF Walk To Cure Diabetes for her family's team Ben's Brigade. She has served on various committees such as the JDRF Imagination Ball Committee, Nominating Committee Chairperson and the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Committee. Central Pediatrics is proud to sponsor the JDRF Imagine Ball.
Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine has recognized Dr. Gesensway as a Top Doc. Physicians on the Top Doc List have been nominated by their peers as being among the best health care providers in the Twin Cities.
Dr Gesensway is married with 3 children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, tennis, biking, reading and cooking.
