Personal Biography:
In addition to many years of experience working as a pediatrician, Dr. Meyers has also taught as a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He also founded the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Catherine's Hospital. It was here that he served as the Chief of Medical Staff, Chief of the Board of Directors, and Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Dr. Meyers has been very involved in community activities supporting children with special needs and underserved pediatric populations. He has a special interest in children with special healthcare needs, including newborn illnesses.
Dr. Meyers enjoys bird watching, fishing, and lapidary. He is married with three children and three grandchildren.
