Carrie Pettey, M.D. Board Certified Pediatrician At Our Woodbury Location Schedule Now Hi, I’m Dr. Pettey! As a pediatrician, it is such a privilege to walk alongside you and your child as they grow from a young infant and toddler into a young adult. Every patient is unique, and I, along with all my colleagues here at Central + Priority Pediatrics, strive to provide excellent individualized care. In addition to taking care of healthy children, I also enjoy providing care for children with complex health care needs and partnering with families and specialists to ensure that patients are thriving and reaching their full potential. It is an honor to be a part of your child’s journey as they grow! I have been with Central Pediatrics since 2015. My favorite moments as a pediatrician involve reflecting on the many personal stories of patients that warm my heart—the patient that got through the tough illness, the previously scared patient who now gives me “high fives” in clinic, the patient that dressed up as a doctor for Halloween, the patient that is in college and is now “pre-med”, and the countless hand-drawn pictures received by patients that decorate our office walls. The reason I went into Pediatrics? I feel this quote sums it up the best: “I chose pediatrics because every day I get to witness miracles in footie pajamas.” —Anonymous Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children, supporting all of their endeavors, traveling and hiking in our nation’s National Parks, and cheering on the Badgers and Gophers every chance I get. Undergraduate: University of Minnesota Medical School: University of Wisconsin Residency: University of Minnesota Awards, Associations, and Memberships Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) A Few of my Favorite Things: Providing preventive care to patients through immunizations and early intervention. Building long-term relationships with patients and families. Walking beside and guiding patients and families through the challenges that life and health can bring. Bringing a smile to every child's face at every visit! “One child, one appointment, one moment can change a lifetime.” —Unknown
