Catherine Crosby-Schmidt, M.D. Board Certified Pediatrician At Our Woodbury Location Schedule Now Hi, I’m Dr. Crosby-Schmidt! I have had the privilege of caring for kids and young adults at Central Pediatrics for over two decades. I love working collaboratively with my patients and families to explore concerns and find solutions. I am passionate about preventive medicine, advocating for positive sleep, nutrition, exercise, balanced digital media habits, and immunizations from infancy through adulthood. On my medical school OB rotation while delivering babies, I found I just wanted to follow the baby instead of handing her off, so here I am today! I find it immensely rewarding to care for children and their families from infancy through adulthood, to form relationships and see how everyone grows through the process. Since being with Central Pediatrics since 1999, the most meaningful moments to me have been when a young person has trusted me enough to share deeply personal concerns as they make big decisions, and has seen me as a resource and advocate for them. In my free time I sing with my husband and many friends in the Minnesota Chorale and at Unity Church-Unitarian. When I’m not working or singing, you can find me cooking, exercising, playing board games, cheering on Gopher Volleyball and the Minnesota Aurora, or traveling to see family and friends.
