Christine Rhodes Dekko, M.D. Board Certified Pediatrician At Our Woodbury Location Schedule Now Hi, I’m Dr. Rhodes Dekko! I have the honor of watching infants grow to young adults for over 25 years. It is a pleasure to educate and guide parents through the early years, and then encourage teens and young adults to continue to make healthy lifestyle choices. I am here to answer any and all questions—when kids are healthy and sick. I have been with Central Pediatrics since 1999. I truly enjoy caring for kids, and my father was my mentor and loved his career as a physician. My patients bring me so much joy! It is so amazing to watch a child who had a “rough start” as an infant, with prematurity or heart disease, grow to be an active adolescent. My heart shines when a developmentally delayed child learns to communicate through smiles, gestures, and technology. They can proudly demonstrate what may seem trapped inside. Outside of work, I enjoy being with kids, and being a kid at heart! I stay active in biking (both mountain biking and road riding), skiing (alpine and nordic), hiking, and traveling the world!
