Jessica Jendro, BSN, RN, IBCLC Board Certified Lactation Consultant At Our Roseville Location My experience serving as a pediatric nurse in the military provided me with a comprehensive understanding of not only pediatric care but also family support. Following my military fulfillment, I worked at a small hospital while my husband was stationed in Key West. During this time, I gained valuable experience on the pediatric floor and cross-trained in the mother-baby unit. This exposure sparked my passion for teaching and aiding families as they adapt to newborn care. I have been with Central Pediatrics since 2022. Every family’s story is unique and it’s an honor to walk beside them as they discover confidence, connection and their own rhythm of care. My favorite moment in this work is witnessing the quiet shift when a mother recognizes her own capability and recognizes she can do this—that calm steady breath when confidence replaces uncertainty. It is a small but powerful turning point, and it reminds me why this work matters and changes everything. After experiencing my own breastfeeding journey—with its joys, challenges, moments of deep learning and unexpected strength—I felt called to help other mothers discover that same confidence within themselves. That experience shaped my commitment to helping mothers feel capable, informed, and supported as they navigate their own path. I know how transformative it can be when someone stands beside you, offering clarity, reassurance and steady support. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, walking, biking, being on the water and camping with my husband and four children.
