Nichole Sandberg, BSN, RNC, IBCLC Board Certified Lactation Consultant At Our Woodbury Location I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with extensive experience working with families providing lactation support and guidance. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to help families meet their feeding goals. Prior to joining Central Pediatrics in 2015, I was a nurse at a busy metro birth center and really enjoyed teaching families newborn care and helping women learn how to feed their baby. I pursued my IBCLC in order to provide better care and expertise to the families I worked with. My favorites moment is always when a mother walks into my office with a smile on her face telling me she is feeling good about feeding her baby! Outside of my professional role, I enjoy bike riding, knitting, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. Undergraduate: University of Minnesota Awards, Associations, and Memberships International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Certified: Low Risk Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing A Few of my Favorite Things: Helping mothers achieve their feeding goal. Teaching new parents about breastfeeding/infant feeding. Listening to my patients’ interests and hearing about their families. Seeing new parents gain confidence in taking care of their baby. “A mother’s arms are made of tenderness, and children sleep soundly in them.” —Victor Hugo
