Dr Pamela Niksich grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and attended medical school at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She completed her residency and one year as Chief Resident at Washington University in St. Louis / St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Dr Niksich enjoys providing preventive care for children from infancy to young adulthood, providing medical care and advice and empowering parents to make informed decisions for their children. She especially enjoys newborns and premature infants, children with developmental challenges, and children with complex medical disorders. She particularly values the concept of the “medical home” in which the physicians, nurses, and support staff truly know their patients and their families well and can respond to their needs in a personal way. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, cooking, and gardening.
