Newborns
Congratulations! We look forward to meeting your family.
- Learn about our online expectant parent class and the opportunity to virtually “meet” one of our pediatricians before your baby’s birth.
- Rigorous measures have been implemented to provide your family with a healthy clinic environment.
Once your baby is born, please call us right away to schedule an appointment. We would like to see your baby 2-3 days after hospital discharge. Be sure to ask the hospital staff to fax your baby’s records to Central + Priority Pediatrics. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day and we are always glad to help with any questions or concerns that may come up.
We have lactation consultants on staff ready to help you with breastfeeding. Lactation consultants are professional breastfeeding specialists trained to teach mothers how to feed their baby. They help women experiencing breastfeeding problems, such as latching difficulties, painful nursing, and low milk production. A lactation consultant also helps babies who aren’t gaining enough weight. They are also familiar with the process of pumping and storing breast milk.
