This class is a 2 part series that takes place on Monday, February 3rd (part 1) and Monday, February 10th (part 2) 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Roseville. Please plan to attend both sessions.

ADHD Part 1: An Overview
Part 1 of this series will center on a discussion of the diagnostic criteria for ADHD and when pursuing an ADHD evaluation may be appropriate for your child. We will dive into questions surrounding how ADHD is defined, how to talk to teachers and your child’s pediatrician about attention concerns, and when to consider a formal assessment.
ADHD Part 2: A Parent’s Guide to Management
Once a diagnosis is established, parents often have many questions about what comes next. Part 2 of this series will focus on evidence based treatment options once a diagnosis of ADHD has been made. The goal of this session is that parents leave with a better understanding of all aspects of treatment, including medication options, school accommodations and other therapeutic interventions.
Emily Rosckes is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner; she holds a doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of Minnesota with a certificate in disability policy and services. She has a passion for development and behavioral pediatrics.
